I heard that getting wrapped in heating pads immediately after surgery can assist with reducing gas is this truthful or not?

Before doing these surgery I wish I had just watched about ten tik tok videos and I now know I wouldn’t have gone through with this.

It has to be a mind change as well as physical. What do i want the rest of my life to be like? I want to hike, sit on an airplane without a seat belt extension, enjoy my life..not just watch it go by. Im all in...

I had to laugh when Doctor said to throw some beans in your lunch. My usual lunch is a frying pan pretty full of veg (onions, carrots, asparagus, sliced brussel sprouts, mushrooms, and spinach), to which I add a 1/4 of a block to torn up tofu and a 1/2 cup of white beans. It all gets topped with my own concoction of southwest spices. After plating, it get topped with some kimchi, pickled red onions, hot sauce and my homemade sprouts. I always look forward to my lunch. I had gastric bypass when I was 65 and lost 100 pounds. I'm 76 now and still within 5 pounds of original weight loss goal. Oh, and I don't have any of those typical old age problems that require medication. I also had to laugh about the hunger issue ... I eat so many different fruits and veg every day that I am never hungry.

I regret this stupid surgery in every form of its existence. Mentally physically and emotionally I am in horrible shape. My hair is falling.. and thin. And I say that as someone with very very thick long hair.

I was going to get bariatric surgery in 2010 but I backed up and was already in the process of getting my surgery I wasn’t obese that’s why I backed up on my surgery day i was really young and I was this close to getting into the process I did the process of bariatric surgery like 3 times I even did the classes, the testing and etc, but till this day my dr still offers me bariatric surgery ‘ I did my research about bariatric surgery, gastric sleeve and gastric bypass for many years now 😌

I'd hate to have surgery by this guy. He looks constantly exhausted. I'd be worried he'd fall asleep mid procedure. Ive seen more life in a morgue. His "get up and go" has got up and gone.

I am 13 months post-op of gvs at 1st I batteled with constipaiton due to the chsnges from the surgery. I after 2 months I haven't any issue with constipation due to staying on top of my water intake and consuming fiber in my morning green smoothie shake and eating my veggies.

When the pressure is low, i get more sensations and so on. Feels like the wind gets knocked out of me until i go. Fiber. Sugar, fat and malabsorption after i lost my gallbladder led to a bile acid nightmare. Ph is always whacky. Microbiome sends me back to chicken rice soup or blamd diet weekly. In hot weather, i want to never wake up. My body goes slack and fets very sick. In high rain and winds, not snow, the same but ibs speeds up as the slow bowel goes berserker. Amy timps besides biofeedback and no ibs meds can help. Led to psuedo obstruction when i tried that. Even tea is a danger. Everything i eat can be hypersensitive or a lacatove on a bad day. On a really bad day. I look so bliloated i got up two sizes woth gas despite trying to use yogurt non dairy whicg has 50 50 chance of doing good or bad to the condition. Hashimoto's and ocos are also an issue amd bloodwork is regularly done. My gut gastric reflux now is showing up as hypercalcemia from kidney issues since i canteen do acid foods like citric acid a lot at all during flare season ir even vebtrical reflux from so many electrolyte bonks on the head drinking me dry. And tge psuedo gastritis if i set it off.
